Every business has knowledge.
It's stored across policies, employee handbooks, training guides, websites, product information, sales resources and years of internal documentation.
The challenge isn't creating information.
It's helping the right people find the right answer, quickly, and knowing the information they're reading is the latest approved version.
That's why we've partnered with Abilitix.
After working alongside the Abilitix team to develop their brand strategy and launch their platform, we saw first-hand how one of their products available, Ask Abilitix addresses one of the biggest challenges facing modern organisations: making organisational knowledge accessible without compromising security, governance or accuracy.
As part of this strategic partnership, Dovetail can now work with clients to implement Ask Abilitix as an extension of the HR, branding, digital and communication solutions we already provide.
What is Ask Abilitix?
Ask Abilitix is an enterprise AI knowledge platform that transforms your organisation's information into an intelligent assistant.
Instead of searching the internet, it searches your business.
Policies, procedures, employee handbooks, product documentation, training materials, FAQs and website content become a secure knowledge base that employees and customers can interact with using natural language.
Each response is generated from your approved information and references the original source document, giving users confidence in where the answer came from. If the platform can't verify an answer, it simply says so rather than attempting to generate one.
The outcome is simple: less time searching, more consistent answers, and greater confidence across your organisation.
Where can it be used?
One of the strengths of Ask Abilitix is its flexibility.
One trusted secure source, that can used in different ways….
Access is always controlled by permission. Customers interacting with Ask Abilitix on your public website only ever see approved, customer-facing content, while internal knowledge remains behind secure, authenticated password access for staff. The platform is built to reflect your existing access and governance structure, not bypass it.
It can be embedded into your public website, providing customers with immediate answers using approved business information.
Internally, it can support HR teams by helping employees quickly locate policies, onboarding information, workplace procedures and training material.
Sales and customer service teams can access product information, technical documentation, proposals and frequently asked questions without searching through folders or waiting for assistance.
It can also support organisations looking to centralise knowledge across multiple departments, creating a single source of truth that grows alongside the business.
Because the platform is built around your own content, every department benefits from having a searchable, reliable knowledge base that is available whenever it's needed.

A note on AI and workplace advice
AI is a powerful tool for helping people find information, but it shouldn't replace professional advice where workplace rights and obligations are concerned.
The Fair Work Ombudsman recommends using AI as a starting point only and advises against relying solely on AI when seeking advice about Australian workplace laws. Employers and employees should continue to refer to official sources or seek professional advice when interpreting workplace entitlements and legal obligations.
Ask Abilitix helps address this challenge by providing answers based on your organisation's approved documentation rather than drawing from unverified public sources. However, where legislative interpretation or employment law advice is required, official guidance should always take precedence.
