The Objective
The Australian Service Excellence Awards (ASEAs) are Australia’s pre-eminent awards celebrating best practice, performance and innovation in Customer Service. 2022 marked the 25th Anniversary of the Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA). To celebrate this incredible milestone Dovetail were asked to bring the concept “When all the stars come out” to life with one consistent theme, from event launch through to the to star-studded, red carpet, ASEA Gala Dinner held in the ballroom of The Fullerton Hotel, Sydney.
The Solution
Dovetail created a dynamic visual feast of crisp, animated silver stars aligned to the rich purple and watermelon colours of the CSIA brand. To ensure differentiation between award categories, different star animations were assigned to each award type, that is for; Champion, Hero, Winner and Best of the Best categories. This also added depth and consistency for the promotion of award categories, finalists and ultimately winners, in social media throughout the year.
TWO giant 30-foot wide digital screens created the perfect canvas for multi-media displays, picture-in-picture streaming and for framing of an interactive FIVE panel finalists’ display directly above the stage. As each winner was announced the display progressed to finally revealing the winners.
A FOUR minute retrospective video was played during the show, highlighting the key milestones achieved by CSIA over 25 years and ending with the unique 25th year anniversary logo that was created to unite all CSIA marketing activity throughout the year; from email signatures, to corporate presentations and social media.
In addition, Dovetail managed all aspects of third-party supplier contracting and project management for the gala dinner; ranging from pre-event planning, hotel contract management and communication through to music, interactive activations, table centrepieces and event management, ensuring a special celebration for all guests, nominees and winners.
The Outcome
Thanks to the team at Dovetail for everything they did to make our ASEA 2022 Dinner such a marvellous success. We’ve received an overwhelming about of positive feedback from guests.
