A trusted family brand built for the agricultural industry

The Objective

Reid Stockfeeds, a family-owned business with a 37-year legacy, needed a brand refresh to remain competitive in an evolving agricultural industry. While the existing logo had served well for over two decades—particularly on truck and trailer livery—it was not designed for today’s digital landscape.

The challenge was to modernise the brand while respecting its heritage, loyal customer base, and deep emotional ties within the company. The new identity needed to clarify brand positioning, improve adaptability across digital and print media, and ensure Reid Stockfeeds remained distinct from its competitors.

The Solution

A deep brand audit revealed that while competitors focused on performance and leadership, Reid Stockfeeds had something more powerful—trust. This insight led to the "Trusted Performance" positioning, which now defines the brand.

The logo was refined to ensure adaptability across all applications while maintaining Reid Stockfeeds' heritage colours of burgundy and gold. The new ribbon-style flag design made the Reid name more prominent, reinforcing brand recognition in retail, signage, and digital platforms. The shape of the flag allowed it to be seamlessly applied across everything from fleet livery and uniforms to packaging and marketing materials.

For social media and merchandise, a simplified “R” avatar was introduced, offering employees and customers a modern, wearable brand mark that retains a strong connexion to the full identity. The refreshed branding provided a stronger, more flexible visual system that could evolve alongside the company.

The Result

The refreshed Reid Stockfeeds brand has been widely embraced by both customers and employees, even winning over those initially resistant to change. The clearer brand positioning has strengthened market presence, uniting the team behind a shared vision. Now, with a future-proof identity, Reid Stockfeeds is well-positioned for long-term growth in an increasingly competitive industry.
