The Objective

Havenhall, a fast-growing pharmacy sales business, wanted to better understand how its people were feeling. The goals were clear:

Measure employee engagement across the business

Compare results and eNPS (employee net promoter score) with previous years

Uncover how employees perceive the company and their morale

Identify what’s working and where improvement is needed

The Solution

To get a clear and honest read on engagement, Dovetail designed a confidential, company-wide survey using SurveyMonkey.

It combined Likert-scale questions covering everything from leadership and communication to brand connection and development with open-ended prompts to gather suggestions and highlight wins.

We ensured employees had two full weeks to complete it, with internal reminders and support for maximum uptake.

The Result

The response rate was outstanding - 95% of employees completed the survey, showing a strong willingness to be heard. Key results included:

A notable uplift in engagement compared to previous periods

98% of employees said they were committed to the company and its success

Insights were shared with management and then cascaded through the business

As a result of the survey feedback, the business has implemented a formal reward and recognition program, improved meeting structures and increased support for career development.
