Following the momentum of successful events in 2022 and 2023, CAFBA returned with a bold vision for 2024: take the National Broker and Financier Awards to the next level at the Ritz-Carlton Melbourne. The goal was to cement NBFA’s place as the premier event in the commercial finance industry, with new awards and elevated production that reflected the night’s prestige.
With a new venue came a new approach. While the Ritz-Carlton offers five-star luxury and grandeur, its in-built LED screens were modest. To maximise the ballroom’s potential, we introduced custom CAFBA Gobo lighting, transforming stage drapery into an illuminated jewel-like backdrop that framed bespoke slide decks and custom motion graphics designed specifically for the event.
We also added a 4-metre media wall to give finalists and winners a proper moment in the spotlight - perfect for photos and social sharing.
As always, our creative, AV, and staging approach ensured NBFA stood out from competing events, reinforcing its place as the finance industry’s must-attend celebration.
The Ritz-Carlton ballroom reached full capacity with the finance community turning out in force. TV news anchor Gemma Acton took the reins as MC, delivering warmth, professionalism, and energy to the night. With Commonwealth Bank once again the naming sponsor, the 2024 NBFA delivered on its promise: a spectacle of excellence and a standout night for the industry’s best.
