The Objective

To arrange a 2-day Conference at which delegates would enjoy the best of Hobart, be inspired to develop skills and strategies, which they can implement straight away, and explore innovative ways of planning for the future. To involve external suppliers as sponsors, ensuring that they would benefit from attendance and receive value for their time and money invested. Dovetail Brand Engagement was contracted to manage the Conference from initial planning stages, site inspection, venue selection and budgeting through to the conception of theme and conference language; communication and marketing to ATAC members and sponsors, as well as all aspects of event management throughout the Conference.

The Outcome

Delegates experienced the city’s heritage charm and iconic venue by starting off with a Welcome Dinner at the iconic Cascade Brewery.  

Hands-on workshops on eMarketing and on Business Excellence
combined with the interactive format of networking between a record number of sponsors and delegates, and engaging presentations from major sponsors and keynote presenters, further endorsed the ‘Future Focus’ theme and ensured exceptional value for all.

The Conference culminated with a prestigious awards ceremony and gala dinner in the magnificent setting of the Hotel Grand Chancellor's Harbourview Room.

The Solution

The theme “Future Focus” recommended by Dovetail captured the overall objective of the Conference. The vibrant style of the artwork created by the team, strengthened the theme and high energy of the event, while the inclusion of the tagline, “Hands On. Future Thinking” reinforced that delegates were going to come away with relevant skills.

Innovative sponsorship packages and options were made available to preferred suppliers to encourage their participation.
